There are in fact many Galluccis around the Northwest. My husband's father, Jim,(Vincent anthony}Gallucci was born in Almira, N.Y.He came to the West in the Navy, Married Virginia Righi in Bremerton Wa.in 1936.Virginia was very recently here from Sassuolo,in the province of Modena.For Many years I've loved her pork roast, polenta and her specialty,cappeletti. Today people call these tortolenni. For years she made each one by hand.They were small,with breast of chicken, Swiss chard, sugo,and nutmeg Never have I tasted one as delicious in a resturant.Usually they were served in chicken broth with grated cheese.Seattle is the perfect place for good Italian cooks. Even an Irishman such as I am could do no better.Ciao

I have shopped and had lunch at Gallucci's. I moved to the Bronx about 18 months ago. Although I shop in the Arthur Avenue area of the Bronx I miss your store and the people who work there. When I come home I plan to visit. There were some beautiful spaghetti platters( especially the ones with the deep blue colors) that I wished I had purchased them before I moved, but, i was afraid of of breaking them in transit.
